Mandy Rodriguez

Mandy attended Buena High School where she played volleyball and basketball. She also attended Cerritos College. While at Cerritos Mandy received such honors as Second Team All Conference and Honorable Mention All Conference. Mandy was the starting setter on the women's team at Whittier College in 1998 and 1999. While at Whittier Mandy earned first and second team All SCIAC awards. She was co-captain, co-mvp, and Female Team Sport Athlete of the year in 1999. Mandy received her BA in Child Development in 2000. She continued on at Whittier College as the Graduate Assistant for the women's team pursuing her Master's in Education, which she received in May of 2002. Mandy has coached for such clubs as Huntington Beach and Channel Islands. In 1998 & 1999 she was the men's club volleyball coach at Whittier. Mandy has also coached JV girls volleyball at La Serna High School in Whittier. Mandy is in her 4th season as the Head Women's Volleyball Coach at Ventura College. She has coached for Channel Islands for more than 6 years and is currently the Director of Fundraising and the 15-Premier head coach. Along with coaching volleyball Mandy also teaches 2nd grade at Hueneme Elementary. Mandy is married to Leo and has twin daughters Isabella and Adrianna.
