Ashley Garza
Ashley has been playing volleyball for 10 years. She played club for 4 years; 3 with Channel Islands. She went to St. Bonaventure High School where she played basketball and volleyball for 4 years. She earned numerous awards in both sports including MVP for 2 years (Basketball), Hustle Award (Volleyball) All C.I.F. for 3 years (Basketball) 1 year (Volleyball), Player of the Week (Basketball), Defensive Player of the Year (Basketball & Volleyball) and MVP of the L.A. Baptist Basketball Tournament. She continued to play Volleyball with the University of Arizona Club Volleyball Team for two years where she carried her team to second place out of 83 teams at the NIRSA Club Championship Tournament and was named to the First All Tournament Team in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is a recent graduate from the University of Arizona and is very excited to be coaching at Channel Islands.
