CIVC Program Ad Sales

All Club Parents:

Welcome to the 2005 Channel Islands Volleyball Club season. We sincerely appreciate your commitment to our club. Please see the following regarding our current fund-raiser, the club program ad sales. This is the best opportunity to raise funds.

This is to inform you about the club program that we plan on publishing in late April. We will include several pages regarding our club as well as team pages in the program, along with paid advertisers. You can use this as a fundraiser for your daughter’s volleyball cost.  The fee for the ads is as follows:

The fee along with the original black and white artwork must be in the hands of Billy Arnold no later than April 15th. The checks should be payable to the CIVBC. One ad per business please. No personal ads please. The Program Advertisement Form is attached. Please make as many copies of it as needed, and return it with the fee and the ad.

Your daughter’s account will be credited with 75% of the total dollar amount of ads sold by you. The other 25% of the ad revenue will go to offset the cost of the club program. You can only receive credit for up to the amount of your daughter’s club fee.

You can inform the prospective advertisers that we are a non-profit, 501C(3) organization. All of the proceeds of the ad revenue will go to the benefit of the club members, by paying for the club program production costs, as well as reducing the club fee for the participant obtaining the ad. We will publish a minimum of 300 club programs. They will be distributed to the 120 girls and their families that play for our club. A copy will also be provided to each of the advertisers. Additional copies will be made available at any local club tournaments that we sponsor during the club season here in Ventura and Santa Barbara. Any remaining copies will be handed out to the local high school and middle school girl’s volleyball teams in the fall.

In order to limit our liability, we cannot be responsible to any advertiser more than the amount they paid for their respective ad, in the case of errors and omissions in the final product.

The inside and outside front and back cover has been reserved for club use.

We also need advertisers for our website, as with the club program, you will receive credit for 75% of funds raised for the website ads. Call Billy if interested.
